About ACSD Super Summer Program
What is Super Summer?
A two-week summer school for high-ability students, which is designed to:
Offer students special courses not generally accessible in the regular school curriculum.
Give students an opportunity to study with a community professional or instructor in a chosen field of interest.
Provide students an opportunity to study a subject in-depth.
Who may apply?
June 12th - 16th & June 19th - 23rd
Boys & Girls Entering Grades:
1st - 8th

$85 per Class (Snack Provided)
What does it cost?
The tuition fee is $85.00 per class. The fee includes all materials and a snack. The snack will be served daily from 10:00-10:15 am in the school cafeteria.
If you qualified for the Federal Lunch Program (free and reduced) for the 2016-2017 school year, the cost per class is $45. In order for students to be eligible they need to have a Free and Reduced Application on file with the Ames Community School District. If your child does not attend a school in the Ames Community School District, proof of free and reduced status will need to be mailed to Catherine Monroe, Ames High School, 1921 Ames High Drive, Ames, IA 50010.
Tuition fees must accompany all mail-in registration forms or the registration will not be processed. If registering online, you will need to use a credit card to pay for each class. All school districts will be able to register online by using the link on the ACSD's Super Summer Page under Quick Links.
All fees are refundable, minus $10.00 service fee per class, through May 7, 2017. After May 7, there will be NO refunds. No Exceptions.
